1911 Builders Government frame is perfect base for building your favorite 1911. Frames are available in finished and unfinished. All finished frames will ship to FFL please allow 2 weeks to process FFL item.

Frames are CNC machined from fordging’s with a bead blast finish. All frame dimensions are original 1911 mil spec design.

Before finishing or replacing any frame please be aware of all state and federal laws that may apply to you. Unfinished frame is not readily finished and requires specially tooling and gunsmith training.

Finished frames are processed under our 07 FFL name Firearms Performance Center. 

Frames are raw with no finish ready for fitting and assembly. Frame rails and sear and hammer locations are standard 1911 mil spec dimensions. Minor fitting may be required per your finishing requirements.

Frame in this kit has uncut frame tang and will support both GI and Beavertail grip safety builds. Using the provided Beavertail will require

the frame be shaped to a .250 radius. It can easily be done by hand with our shaping jig. 

This Is what the work looks like and is done using a common file.
